Art Inspiration and The Upper Room-You are Invited to the Table
My art is inspired by experiences in my life, and many times what God is teaching me. This year in Bible Study Fellowship we have been studying the book of John and it’s been so nice to slow down and really study it in depth. The past couple of weeks we’ve been diving into the Last Supper and Jesus’ words to his disciples in the Upper Room. I just love when my inspiration for a piece of art comes from a place of reflection and contemplation of Gods Word, it’s like a record of what He is teaching me in that moment.
You are invited to the table-all we have to offer is our sin. "Jesus said to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" -John 14:8
Bible Study Fellowship has taught me God's word, and His Word is transforming my life! It's focus in purely on the scriptures, no fluff, just solid doctrine.
"For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart." -Hebrews 4:12
